Here's my reason:
I think that the 2k series has completely overhaul the controls, Gameplay, Classic Rosters. I also think that graphics accessories and others have been upgraded to the point were nba 2k11 is unplayable. They have literary taken the greatest video game ever and made even better to the point were the lines in your local gamestop are going to be warped around the building to get this new installment of the 2k series. So what are your reasons to buying the new installment...

Im buying on release day cause i can no longer play 2k11... I had no problems with it before the 2k12 demo!!!!!!

should of not buy it because barkley still aint in it. but now im buying cause there's just huge improvements over 2k11.

Its a tradition since the very first 2k. I have owned every version since then and dont see myself stopping. Plus Da czar had his hand in it, the demo plays very well and the play system and controls are very intriguing.
